What’s that old saying about making lemonade after life hands you a big fat lemon? Well according to a story on TechCrunch, that’s exactly what a group called Atomic Tom did when their instruments were stolen. Sans instruments, they decided to hold a concert on the New York subway, on the B train over the Manhattan Bridge and into Brooklyn, to be precise, using just their iPhones. Naturally, the band filmed the result, and put it up on their YouTube channel. And although this does sound like something Apple might organise as a cool publicity stunt, TechCrunch reckons it’s actually genuine and Apple didn’t know anything about it (although TC isn’t buying the ‘stolen instruments’ part of the story!) When TechCrunch first broke the story, they said that the video only had approximately 300 views. As of today, it has over 132,000! Check it out, it really is pretty amazing stuff!
