Bluetooth prob

Any 1 plz tell me y my iphone 4's bluetooth not detecting my ipad2???
And same prob is with ipad 2 both running ios5

iOS devices cannot be connected via BT. Only to external peripherals like wireless headsets, car audio systems, etc.

yeah iOS can not connect to iOS via bluetooth, you will waist your time wondering but that's it. If you jailbreak already, you can purchase celest bluetooth from Cydia and install it on both of your devices, it will solve that issue for you.

Hmm nope i m not sending any files via Bt
I turned on iphone 4 bt n turned on my ipad 2 bt same time , they should detect each other but they r not..... I hope u understand my question now....

As some 1 told me that my ipad 2 running ios. 5 cant be jail broken soi wanted to jail break my iphone 4 running ios 5 but dont know how to do that am afraid if any thing goes wrong

No... they are not going to detect each other. iOS devices will not detect or connect to each others BT.
