Shortcut help

I need to read a sequential file in a shortcut. I have already accessed the file, and performed a Quick look action on the file. I now need to verify that I can step through the file, one record at a time. I hope to verify by using a Quick Look action on each record. However, I can't seem to do that.
I think I need to "Split File" by New Line. Then do a "repeat with each item in split text. But when I do a quick look, I get the entire file again, and again.

Anyone have any idea what I might be missing?
