Calendar app with flexible alerts & recurring events

Is there a calandar app that synchs with Outlook, allows flexible alert times eg 1 week, 4 weeks etc, & allows entry of recurring events eg second Thursday of each month? I am disappointed at how basic the iPhone 4 Calendar is. Bring on Outlook for iPhone!

Just setup all you complicated schedules from Outlook on your computer then sync.

Thanx DannyBoy. Clumsy but mostly effective, as I found with my first synch on buying the iphone.
I will keep looking for a more flexible calender app.

Check out Pocket Informant. It will sync with Outlook, Gcal, etc. I use it instead the built in calendar.

thanx folks; pocket informant is working for me and appears to offer an elegant solution to entering recurring appointments and setting alerts at irregular times. Very helpful.
