I have two ATT accounts. Well, I have one and my mom has a different one. My account is not eligible for an upgrade for a while. My Mom's account is eligible now. She uses a Pantech flip phone. I signed her up for an iPhone 4S upgrade, and planned on using it to replace my 3G -- I was gonna give her the 3G, as she won't use many of the features of the phone. ATT says they can't move the activation of the 4S across accounts, it has to be registered to her phone number.
So far I've only talked to people on the phone, haven't bothered people in the store yet -- not sure they could help and I'm sure it'll be a madhouse down there right now anyway.
Does anyone know of a way I can do what I want: Put the 4S on my account with my phone number and activate/transfer the 3G to her account?
