Can it work in other countries?

I'm a student who is studying in the UK right now.

I downloaded a BBC iplayer which I think is quite useful for me.

However, I wonder whether I can use it when I come back to China.

Does anyone has simliar experience?

BBC iplayer is for the uk only, so it will not work while in china or any other non uk country

No, we tried it in Europe. It only works for UK IP addresses; Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Just says "You appear to be outside the United Kingdom or its territories. Due to international rights agreements, we only offer this video to viewers located within the United Kingdom and its territories."

It will work in China only if you use a VPN which can provide you with UK IP address, else; not a chance.
