Can the iPhone 6 Plus front facing camera, proximity sensor, etc be replaced with the 6S version?

I replaced the screen and battery in my 6 Plus last night and it seems I may have damaged the proximity sensor in the process as my screen no longer goes dim when I'm on a call with the phone to my ear. I'd like to order a replacement and was wondering if I could replace this part with the 6S Plus part and get the better camera, or will the software not support it? Thanks!

What you're trying to do, is not possible. Both models are not completely identical. There will be differences, even if they might be barely noticable, that will prevent it from working. There are mechanical and dimensional differences, and there are also programming differences.
