Can the iphone get hacked from a backup stored on a computer?

Can the iphone get hacked from a backup stored on a computer? Also what if u sync it w/ someone else's computer? I'm really leery about where & what I plug my iphone into but I don't have any computer of my own & have to really on other people & I don't know what security measures theymay take.

As mentioned before, it's difficult and impractical to hack an iPhone because you have to specifically target a particular device. Your device isn't vulnerable through a backup since you don't have access to the sandbox levels of your particular device. The only time your device is vulnerable is if someone takes your device, and specifically tailors something for your device.

Or, if you have an SSH connection to your device 24/7 using the stock user and password. Then someone can SSH into your device.
