It's light and day when it comes to a traditional Windows related product and an Apple related product. Apple products have a higher level of scrutiny in their development rather than just "ship and go" for Windows. Not saying that Windows is a bad OS, just that it's not as careful with it's security layers as Apple. Again if you want to target a Mac or an iPhone/iPad, you have to tailor something just for that device, it can't be some universal bug flying around unless it's software/driver related.
