That’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking how would you know if it has genuine or instead has third-party FaceID parts to begin with? If it works I would assume it has to have the genuine original parts, isn’t that correct?

Apple make Face ID replacement parts and they or their approved repairers can carry out repairs of the same.

Apple is not going to sell parts to just anyone!
