Cant sync after jailbreak

Im trying to sync my phone after I have jailbroken it but get the following message

"iphone can't sync because the sync session failed to start"

I have looked it up but no solution has worked for me.
I've tried deleting the lockdown folder, rebooting phone and laptop, deleted backups but nothing works. Any ideas guy because I dont want to have to restore it and start over again

Have you got the newest itunes version? Try running as administrator (right click on itunes) and also , what do you mean you deleted the lockdown folder?

Regarding the lockdown folder it was just a solution i came across on google. Delete the folder from c:/program data/apple.

I have Itunes 10.5.1.42.
I will update and try again

Edit:Still no joy. Any advice will be much appreciated

Ok, problem solved. I uninstalled Infinidock, Infinifolder and Call Blocker which i had installed via Cydia.
Hope this helps anyone else who gets stuck
