Charging an iPhone15: Ok to use USB-A to USB-C cable?

Is it safe to use a USB-A to USB-C cable (with a USB-A wall plug) to charge the iphone15? Searched online & really couldn’t find any answers - only thing I could gather was USB-C to USB-C cable is a faster charge. For now I dont care about a faster charge, strapped for cash & so cant buy a 2nd/3rd C-C USB. So wondering if its “safe” to use an A-C USB until I can get more C-C USB’s.

(FYI - iOS is 17.4 & its a 15 Plus)

It is safe to use a USB-A Adaptor to the C port on an iPhone 15, although it may be a bit slower (which is better for the battery).

Perfectly fine to use an A-C cable, just beware of "gas station chargers." Try to use a cable from a known party. Essentially, just avoid cables that are super duper cheap, as I have seen them damage iPhones time and time again. It was mainly prevalent with lightning cables, but still good advice to follow.
