If you're not familiar with Words With Friends, it's a bit of a Scrabble-a-like, if truth be told, and was voted Wired's favourite App of 2009, so you know it's going to be pretty good! The iPhone version of Words With Friends is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and there's also an HD iPad version available for £1.79/$2.99, but not as part of the sale.
