Confused.com about iphone4 / 3 / unlocked

One thing though, since iphone4 only takes micro sim, how do I go about testing the unlock (I have regular sims for other networks but not micro sizes). Any way?

I'm afraid to tell you that you will have to cut that other sim card into a micro sim. That's the only way you can get the sim into the phone.

is it good news????!!!! i just don’t know what to believe….i am dazzed and confused about the way they been handling the unlocks for the iPhone 4 2.10.04 and 3.10.01 basebands. I am nobody to complaint since i never paid anything to the Dev-Team to bring me this unlock…i’ll keep waiting quietly in my corner, I suggest that the rest of us do the same, this guy does not have any strings attached to us or anything that can make us have the right to claim anything from him, so, lets all be quiet and wait.
Let the man do his work.

If you've paid your network to unlock your phone then you don't need to worry about it locking up again. It's basically a factory unlocked iPhone now. No jailbreak, upgrade or restore will ever change that.

You can update to the latest firmware via iTunes then jailbreak with redsnow...
