Copy calendar from iphone 7 to Yahoo calendar

When I schedule some event on my Yahoo mail calendar it copies fine on my iPhone 7 but the vice versa does not happen. I will schedule on my phone but it does not make it to yahoo calendar. What am I doing wrong.

Go to Settings on your iPhone, select Calendar, then choose "Default Calendar" and make sure the Yahoo calendar is checkmarked. If that's not the case, change this setting. Select your Yahoo calendar.

That worked - thank you - but you have to re-login to see the change.
