My iPhone 5 took a fall and turns out the damage done was to the charging port. At first it would charge extremely slow (25% after a whole night on the charger), then once the battery failed it won't build enough of a charge to get through the initial boot.
I can replace the phone but I need the data on it. I tried replacing the battery, but evidently those don't come charged so that didn't help me.
What can I do to get the data off this thing? I just need a short charge, then I can transfer the data and get a new one. Is there anything I can do?
