When I get a text message, I get my standard alert sound followed by a second alert sound. So in essence, it makes it sound like I have received 2 text messages but I only received 1. Any idea how to fix that? It usually only happens with one person and only sometimes but lately it's been happening a lot. Any ideas??

Someone had a similar issue earlier. Here is your fix: Go into Settings > Notifications > Messages and scroll down, there should be something that says "Repeat Alert". Set that to "never" and it should sort it out.

hi, its happening to me i set the repeat alert to never its stilldoing it but not all the time in did a re-boot but it still does it,there is no gap between alerts one is tagged on to the other.
