Editing contacts

I have the same issue cdniphone. But if you have a Text from the contact, you can go throught Contact and it will allow you to edit. Did Apple give you a new phone?

It appears that way...

well got the new phone and seems to be working fine now. Apple store said must have been a defective phone, it was nice, looked at it verified it and no questions asked heres your new phone

Yup new phone fixed it. Didn't check the text message way.

Try restoring phone, might work. But for me I had to change my phone
