Error

I am receiving error 3194. I have followed all instructions about how to go back from 4.2.7 to 4.2.6 can anyone explain why after I edit my host files I still get the 3194 error.

Did you save the shsh for 4.2.6 before? If not i think you won't be able to downgrade despite how many files you will modify.

I bought this phone yesterday and it already had 4.2.7 on it. I've downloaded two different restore files for 4.2.6 and neither will work.

That's normal. In fact you never was having 4.2.6 in the device, you've never shsh for any 4.2.6 as the device came with another version higher than the one you wishing to have on your device. At this point, you will not be able to downgrade, itunes will not allow any downgrade on any of his iDevices. What iDevice are you using? If you are having an iPhone4 what about the latest firmaware? You don't like it? It's stable and depending on your baseband it's unlockable as well.

I am using a IPhone 4 on Verizon and I thought I was already updated to the highest firmware. I am trying to jailbreak it and 4.2.7 won't let me can you give me any info on updating it

I can't find the approptiates links for you at the moment, i'm on tapatalk which shows no link. Look up for "Unleashed" accross the forum. You can send him a PM he will help you out with the links you need to be able to upgrade etc... With your device.
