Every song has two versions in an album

On my wife's iPhone 4, when she plays music that has been loaded onto
her phone from her iMac, she sees two or more versions of each song per album.
It's not this way on her iMac and on my iPhone 5, this doesn't happen.
Nay ideas why there would be two versions?

I can apparently delete song, by song but there's too many of them. I even tried deleting all music in the settings, but they remain on the iPhone. They won't go away!
