Facetime freezes with rear camera

When I switch to my rear camera during a Facetime session, the other person sees a frozen image of me from my front camera.

Any information about this phenomenon?

If I'm not mistaken, FaceTime only uses the front camera.

I solved my Facetime freeze problem with the rear camera by putting a bumper frame around the antenna.
