How do I disable the speaker?

I just got my iPhone4. When I make a call, being left handed, my cheek touches the speaker icon and it turns on. I wish to disable it as I don't use the speaker anyway. Help please.

No way to just disable it.... Hopefully the fix will be out soon!

I'm left-handed, but never use my left hand to use the phone.
