I'm able to unsubscribe to a podcast in the new built-in podcast application by turning "Subscription" to "Off", but I can't get rid of it. So if I try a podcast, I'm sort of stuck with it on my list forever. I'm sure there's a way to get rid of it. Can you tell me how?

Open your podcast app and swipe down on the screen, it will expose the search box and the edit button.

Tap the edit button and an x appears at the upper left of each podcast icon. Tap the x, and the podcast disappears.
I tapped the X on the right hand podcast and it's now gone.When you're finished editing, tap the done button.
