How to upload video

Trying to upload video,it loads to computer,but i cant access the file,i tried downloading to desktop,it shows up but cant access it,need help.Thanks

How are you uploading it? I just drag and drop it out of the digital camera folder to my desktop.

I dragged it to desk top,but its a black image that i cannot get to open.

try opening the video with itunes, watching it through itunes
