Yes and No.
Well, the mptcp sends a complex group of arp packets (with random MACs) to the list of IP addresses given on range. All the IP addresses have a physical comunication between the nods, and with true MAC address associated to its IP on the conversation by the network.
Mptcp does shots of ARP packets all the time to the physical broadcast (all in the network) with IP addresses associated with random MACs, saying to all nods on the network that the IP address (given on mptcp run) have now an different MAC address, so the IP given lost your physical connection.
Observation: Mptcp does it to many IP addresses on the same time (flood mode).
