Lets say that your desktop PC crashes one day. From my understanding you would have to face an interesting dilemma. You would have to down load new version of Itunes, this Itune version would have no memory of any of you your apps, music, podcasts and books. If you ever decided to sync your Iphone to it, you would seriously lose what you already have. My meaning here is that it only syncs from PC to Iphone and not the other way around. In addition in will tell you up front that Syncing your Iphone will delete what you already have on your iphone. From that point on you could only download apps directory from your Iphone. Is this really true, or are there other alternatives I haven't thought of? How would you deal with this situation (making the assumption that the crash occurred when nothing was backed up)?

You are given the option to transfer from your iPad to your PC if the iPad contains items not in the iTunes library on the computer.Which in your case is everything.
