I give up on screen protectors

The film protectors suck. I go with a cheap tempered glass protector. You don't even know it's there. And it's fingerprint and smudge resistant. When I say cheap, I got mine from the Dollar Store. I also have my phone in an Otterbox Commuter case.

I second the dollar store screen protectors. I always keep a few on hand just in case. We have multiple iPhones in my family

I used Nillkin tempered glass protectors for my last couple phones, including current iPhone 7. They are really good and not that expensive.

Never heard of them. But it sounds like a logical solution. No need to procure the expensive versions. Experience and results show that they are all quite similar in protection.
