I have an iphone and ipad use icloud no outlook how do i synch mail

I have ms vista as my main computer. I use my cable provider's pop3 mail. If i delete an email from one of my devices it will delete from the pop3 but not my other device

Ie. i take my iphone with me to work,maintain my emails, i will have multiple emails that i have to delete on my ipad when i get home.
