I just called myself?

My phone was just sitting there and all of a sudden it rings with my number on the caller id. I answered it and it hung up. Is there some weirdness going on or is somebody up to no good? Anybody ever experience this?

I just found out other people called themselves as well. There's a scam going sound.

apparently it's a new twist to an old scam, it just made me raise an eyebrow seeing my own number calling me. Never seen that before!

don't mean to scare anyone but isn't this how "hackers" get into your voicemail because it thinks you are directly calling it from your mobile it bypasses passwords so you get straight in. and if you call yourself usually goes directly to voicemail :s

Perfect! I would pay to see the look on the scammer's face if someone did that!
