Sooooo. My iPhone literally took a big dump on me, it flickers on and off and I eventually got it away from doing that and now it just shows to connect to iTunes, I do that and it doesn't restore, it just stays in the, "Preparing iPhone software for restore" screen and the bar won't move up at all, I have put it in DFU mode or whatever its called and it doesn't work. If anyone can help that would mean A LOT. I'm just looking to restore it, I know i probably downloaded a tweak that did this to my phone but how can I fix this?

From the last line, I'm assuming we're jailbroken here. If so, turn off your device by holding the power button alone. If not, hold both the power and home button together until you're at a black screen. Then immediately shift the finger holding down the home button to the volume up button and keep holding it. Your device should automatically boot back to the Apple logo. Keep holding it and you should be on your springboard assuming you have Cydia Substrate installed.

If you cannot enter Safe Mode, place your device into DFU mode and restore. Recovery Mode will most likely not work as Cydia/core issues may be at the boot level, which is not bypassed by Recovery Mode and is only bypassed in DFU mode. Once you're in DFU mode, restore fresh to 7.0.4 and rejailbreak.

Sorry, if I didn't make myself clear, I'm just going crazy knowing my iPhone won't restore at all. I've done all of that and put it in DFU mode and it does start to restore actually, but it pauses after a first bit and it'll stay there. I've left it overnight and no progress at all. I don't know what to do.

Uninstall iTunes and reboot your Mac, then re-install fresh. If you're using a USB hub, detach it and plug your phone directly into a port.

No luck man, any other suggestions?

If you have access to another computer, install a fresh copy of iTunes and DFU it. Alternatively, if you don't have access to another computer, uninstall iTunes, archive/backup your library metaplist that's stored locally, and install a copy of iTunes 11.0.5 linked here for Mac.

The copy of iTunes that you sent did not let me open it, because it said that there is a newer version, But I'm going to a buddies house to try it on his computer I'll keep you updated. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
