I used a wrong email to create my iTunes account

Please help I used a wrong email to create my iTunes account. The confirmation was sent to the wrong email and I cannot access it. Is there a way to change my email so the confirmation will be sent to the right email? or do I have to create a new account. I hope the sensitive information I inputted when creating my account will not be comprimised. Thanks.
