iCloud Contacts Won't Sync to iPhone 13

I recently selected Contacts in my iCloud account as the only account for my contacts. As a result, the contacts on my Macs automatically synced with my iCloud account. No problem. However, the contacts on my iPhone 13 would not sync even after I enabled only my iCloud account on the phone. I also rebooted the phone to no avail. Any help that you might provide would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I might add the following: When I go to icloud.com on my Mac, I can access my Contacts there. However, if I go to icloud.com on my iPhone, my Contacts are not listed there. Hopefully this might offer a clue to get some advice on the syncing issue. Thank you.

Hmm. Are you using the same iCloud account on your Mac and on your iPhone? I've seen that happen where you have 2 different accounts, maybe one for media purchases and one for your Apple ID. And then the contacts would only sync to one and not the other.

I have only one iCloud account on all of the Macs & iPhones.

However, what I just noticed was that if I add a new contact directly into my account at icloud.com, it will sync with my Contacts on all of my Macs & iPhones. Of course the problem I am having is to get the existing contacts on iCloud to sync with my iPhones.
