iCloud is not syncing to Outlook

With IOS 5.0, I wanted to sync with Outlook 2003 but iCloud said I had to have Outlook 2007 or 2010. I bought Outlook 2010.
But now, even with the correct settings in iTunes, it will not sync with my iPhone or iPad or iCloud.
Any comments would be appreciated
