iCloud question

After I've saved photos or notes to iCloud, and if I ever delete them in the phone does it automatically delete from cloud. And how about if the phone got completely erased or set back to factory settings, will it delete on iCloud as well?

When you erase your iPhone, you turn off Find my iPhone, and sign out of iCloud before wiping it. The images and notes will stay in iCloud, because you didn‘t remove them via trash icon.

Apple states that your content will stay in iCloud when you wipe your iDevice.

Be careful when deleting individual photos from the photo album.... When icloud photo library is enabled you will be deleting the photo from the device and the cloud.
