AppleInsider reports today that new images have leaked online that reveal that Android accessory maker MOGA has turned its attention to making a controller for the iPhone.
The pictures were leaked by Twitter user @evleaks, who also said that the new controller has an auxiliary 1,800 mAh battery. AppleInsider says that the MOGA gamepad is expected to work in conjunction with Apples new game controller framework, which was announced back in June at Apples Worldwide Developers Conference. At that time, both Logitech and MOGA were announced as key partners for Apple.
As you can see from the leaked photos, the MOGA iPhone pad seems to go beyond the Logitech gamepad, photos of which were leaked last month, with the MOGA pad having two extra shoulder buttons and two thumbsticks.
While there is no news as yet on pricing or release dates for the MOGA gamepad, Apple stated back in June that we can expect the gamepads to start appearing on shelves later this fall.
