This only happens every now and then. Sometime when i get an imessage the screen would just flash with no alert ive tried a hard reset and i did a restore as new neither one helped. This never happens with SMS texts so could this just be a bug i know there have been issues with imessage. So any thought on this?

it seems like you are sharing your iMessage ID with another iDevice. Turn off the iMessage set on your other device with your iMessage mail ID and your iPhone will display the notification next time you receive and iMessage.
No other i device.
No JB like i said it doesnt happen all the time and it never does this with SMS texts.
Yeah ive done all this and it still happens it could go a week without it happening and then out of the blue it will happen again. Its really not a big problem like i said it only happens every know and then.
