Hi my brother across the country uses my Apple ID and was receiving my text iMessages today, I would like to have iMessages on but not sent to his phone how can I make the settings only send them to my one device?

You can have the same AppleID, what you can't have is the same "Send & Receive" info (in the Messages tab in your Settings app). If you use the same phone number or e-mail address in that field, yes, you will see each other's iMessages. So, just make sure the info in that field is separate from each other.
And yes, you can copy the thread URL in the app. If you'll tell us which app you are using to view the forum (the phone app, Tapatalk, etc)?
