Incoming iMessage pollution

There is a daily Barrage of garbage text from Techcrunch. It hits my iMessage and sits there until I delete it. I don't know how to block it.

How do I stop it?

There should be an unsubscribe button near the end of the emails.

Is this iMessage or emails? If emails, you can scroll down and unsubscribe. If iMessage, tap on the Name or number at the top, then tap on info. Then scroll down to the bottom and tap on Block This Caller.
What phone are you on? iPhone? Something else?

They’re iMessage texts, and no key in the gibberish in the texts to stop’ em.

iMessage, or texts. They seem to have stopped, so something must’ve worked. I tried replying to the texts, but their format seemed to be compression, which made them illegible.

For future reference: click on the >next to the sender name, that brings up a page that will have an Info button at the end of the row under the sender name. Click on info, scroll down and click on Block the Caller or Block this Contact (whichever it shows). Then that I’d gets added to your blocke list.
