Incorrect time shown

I have an iphone 5 & updated to ios 7 a few days ago. The phone worked fine after the update except for the clock. It now automatically changes from central time zone (where I am) to eastern time zone. Prior to the update I had "set automatically" turned on with no problems. Now it must be turned off to keep the phone from switching to the wrong time zone. Nothing else has changed except for the update. Any ideas?

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Setting Time Zone. Is it on or off? And if you have Locations services off, you will need to turn it on first.
