IO6 / Itunes 10.6 / MacOS 10.5.8......

I authorized the upgrade of the iPhone 4 to the system IO6 but obviously now no longer communicates with iTunes 10.6 that should be updated to 7.10 but my Imac does not load operating system than the current 10.5.8 ... morality can no longer sync the iphone. Suggestions? Thanx in advance...
