iOS 10.2

iOS 10.2

One very annoying bug that's been in the last three beta releases is that it's impossible to hide iCloud movie and TV shows. They're displayed even if they're turned off in settings. In the latest beta they're displayed even if your device is in airplane mode. This can make it very annoying when you're trying to find the few videos actually on your device when you have to wade through the entire list of everyting you've ever purchased.

Edit: with the latest beta, a hard reset after updating will return the ability to show only the movies and TV shows that are actually downloaded onto your device if you have Show iTunes Purchases turned off in Settings>Videos.

2nd Edit: the solution only worked for a few minutes before the Videos app went back to showing everything no matter what position the Show iTunes Purchases switch is in.

The only thing significant in this beta release is a bug fix for the TV app crashing issue.

iOS 10.2 Developer and Public Beta 6 are both available now.
Hopefully this fixes the bug in the Video App where your entire purchase history is shown whether or not you choose to show only diwnloaded content.

No, everything you've ever purchased is still visible.

Today, Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 10.2.1.

Typical Apple.. playing cat & mouse with the Jailbreak community. Starting whole new versions even before releasing the last full GM version - trying to give the impression that you need to keep waiting for more and more versions. Makes me crazy.

If you're jailbreak lovers, word to the wise.. get yourself back to 10.1.1 quickly.. and sit there.. you may just "get a Christmas present". :)

Full regular version 10.2 was released 2 days ago.

Well aware of that. But 10.1.1 still being signed. If a JB is imminent (good signs it is) it will be for 10.1.1 only. Word to the wise.

They're actually still signing as far back as iOS 10.1.
