ios 6 officially released!

Am I missing something here folks? Can't seem to get the "do not disturb" function to work. I switch it on and the phone still rings and lights up

turning it on isn't enough - you have to go flip a couple of switches to set it up...

Thanks AZSteelman but I have toggled the switches and still nothing. I'll give it a few days to settle down and see if it works

Dooh. Was ringing frm the same number so those calls always come thru if that option is selected. Tanx for the help AZsteelman.

Just got done installing. I like it. Nothing too major. My 4 seems to be running slightly quicker. I think it's worth it.

Edit: Actually, my 4 feels a lot quicker. It would lag a lot with 5.1.1 and now with 6 it doesn't lag at all. That alone makes it worth it for me. I'm very pleased.

I'm loving it thus far. Tried the maps out and it did well in my small town. Turn by turn worked very well for me. The only thing was it was in town and Siri's voice got a little annoying every two seconds.

Safari is much faster on my 4 with iOS 6 now. Everything else seems the same though.

downloading now for my factory unlocked iphone 4 on tmobile, definitely a little bummed about the no turn by turn directions for iphone 4

Ok I gave in and DLed. Everything seems to be working ok so far. Maybe a little quicker, smoother, cleaner.

Yeah it's not like s huge difference. But I definitely noticed my phone seems quicker and less laggy. The lag was getting bad with 5.1.1.
