IP4S Delivery

I purchased my new IP4S phone on Friday at the Apple store. One of the salesman actually helped me with logging in to buy one. We had to go thru the web site several times because the ATT site was probably overloaded with Pre-orders. It kept messing up our order then finally it went through. I was really excite because he told me that I would be receiving my new phone by this Friday 10/14 as advertised if you Pre-ordered it. When I got home in my email receipt, it says that the phone will ship from 14-21 days rather by this Friday. I've also seen some news that the Pre-orders is insane thus pushing back delivery 1-2 weeks behind. This is pretty disappointing especially when I was told it would be guaranty to be arriving this Friday:-(( any of you in the same boat??? what are you hearing about delivery??

Preordered mine Friday morning 3am. I just received delivery confirmation that it has shipped today and will be delivered by friday. keep an eye out for this email. Good luck

I have yet to receive any delivery confirmation yet. I ordered mine last friday at 3:04am via the Verizon website.

I better receive my order by friday.

I ordered my on Friday around 5:30pm PST, so I guess I will cross my fingers for Friday delivery although my email says delivery in 14-21 days.

Suomycasino and Quiksilver, did your receipt says the same thing for delivery time? thank you.

I ordered my on line on Apple.CA Friday about 3:30 am

Apple.CA is still showing "Processing items" as of 4:45 pm Monday 10th

Tuesday 11th late afternoon and STILL showing "Processing items".

Wondering if it will arrive on Friday 14th.

They now say that we won't get new preorders on Verizon until October 20th.

My order status says:

Your order contains items that are not yet available for shipping. The shipment status has not changed from 10/7 when I placed my order. Uggghhhh!!! I am feeling there will be a delay in shipments!!!!

Here's what my email says from Verizon. I ordered on Friday around 5:20PM CST.

"Thank you for your order. It is being processed and will be shipped to arrive on 10/14/11.

You will receive notification once it has shipped."

I sure hope that's correct! I did notice that on my VZW.com account, it no longer says I'm eligible for a discount and it says I have a device awaiting activation. So I guess that's good news.
