I have an iphone 3gs and it has the ios 6.0.1 i have been trying to use redsn0w to jailbreak it and it says my ipsw is not supported with this version of redsn0w i have the 0.9.15b3 version. I cant find any info on how to solve this everyone goes around everything i need also when i download the firmware files its in a compressed file .zip and redsn0w nor itunes will recognize it. I found a forum on how to change the file to .ipsw but i have windows 7 and i dont have the menu it said u need to change it, i have searched high and low for hours on end and this is driving me crazy and i have no help, so if anyone out there can help me solve my problem i would b forever grateful and i would appreciate it if u r unable to reach me on here thank you very much!!!!!!!!
