Iphone 3gs no sound at all

I have a 3GS I'm getting no sound from anywhere speakers or earphone jack I did the valume thing and it don't say I have earphones connected it just has so sound at all please help. thanks in advance.

Have you checked to make sure you haven't accidentally turned the Mute switch on? Or, is your volume turned up all the way?

And, could you clarify but what you mean by "did the volume thing"? As in, a little more specifics, please. Thanks.

Yes the ringer is on, the volume is up I checked to make sure it didn't say (headphones) wile I messed with the volume. So it's not a issue with it being stuck in headphone mode. I've reset the phone many times no fix, I restored it many times no fix, if I watch a YouTube video it plays the whole video, just with no sound. No ringer, no bottom speaker no key press noise and no noise if I put apple head phones in the jack.

Ok update , I swapped charging/speaker and mic post with another 3GS still didn't work , I swapped the electrical board inside with another 3GS still didn't work any suggestions?? Plz help I'm thinking the only thing left is the power button assembly

There is switch at 3.5 jack might be damaged or need cleaning

There is a switch? Where would it be can i check it? When I plug headphones in it reads headphones r plugged in
