iPhone 4 OS Update now available

Apple has just unleased the iPhone 4.0.1 OS upgrade for the iPhone 4, 3GS, and 3G. Complete details of the update are unknown other then "improves the formula to determine how many bars of signal strength to display." Let us know how it works for you!

Installed not worth it didn't do nothing but change the way the bars look.

I may be blind but I really don't see any difference. Nevertheless, the download and install went flawlessly.

install was nice and easy, i think it did an update though but everything is the way it was like i did an update though with mac it did not offer if i wanted to restore or update, i should of read the whats new bit

Do the bars in the signal strength meter look fatter?

Not fatter but the small bars are a bit taller.. I like it. When your on one bar it doesn't look just flat....looks like you have one bar.

For almost a 600MB download it had to do more then just change bars.

No more death grip on mine and the cropped photo issue I was having is fixed also.
