iphone 4S' backups did not appear in backup list

Hello experts, I recently just found out that my backup did not appear in my backup list for about 6months. I sync almost everyday but did not really check if the backups were successful and updated in the backup list. But recently, i accidentally wiped off the data in my iphone 4S and i thought of backing up the data that i sync the day before. I check the backup list in iTunes, the backups dated year 2011 instead of 2012.

I found the backup data (the day before data) in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\
