IPhone 4S cannot restore. Error 1 and Error 21

Hello,
In need of help trying to restore my Iphone 4S. I had it jailbreaked to 5.01 and tried to run an update via tunes to 5.1.1. The restore process failed with error 21 at first. When I tried to restore it again I get error 1. Any ideas on what can cause this. I also tried to restore the phone on a different pc with a fresh install of tunes. The error was still (1). Any help would is greatly appreciated.

Download. Fresh iPhone 4S 5.1.1iPSW file and save it to your desktop. (be sure to download the latest build).

Download the iPSW from here: http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=firmware

You MUST NOT download the iPSW from Internet Explorer. They will not work. Download from Chrome, Safari, or my personal favorite, Mozilla Firefox.

Once the iPSW is saved to your desktop, plug in iPhone.
Shut down completely (slide to power off)
Enter DFU mode.

Open iTunes
Simultaneously hold down the shift key and click the Restore button.
A window will pop up.
Navigate to your desktop, and double clock the 5.1.1 iPSW.
