The new Apple iPhone 4S already proves to be the new go-to phone as a new application was announced today. Vidyo has launched a high-quality video conferencing app that will allow more than 100 users to participate, app that had previously been available only for the iPad 2.
The VidyoMobile app works with the stronger A5 processor found in the new iPhone 4S and allows a high-quality video imagery, just as it does on the iPad2. You can enlarge an image of certain participants via pinch and zoom controls found on the touchscreen, enabling true video conferences.
The new app will enable workers that are in traffic or away from the headquarters, working remotely, to be part of the video conference through the device in their hands. VidyoMobile allows users to engage in conferences with more than whooping 100 users, but you can only chose to display four participants at any given time, on both the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 devices.
The app is now available in the App Store and we are sure its going to bring something new to the enterprises that are interested in videoconferencing. The company has demoed a video conference with four of Apples latest smartphone users, marveling the crowd with the video quality it enabled, proving once more that the iPhone 4S truly is more powerful than its predecessors.
