Hmm, i know once i left my YouTube app and went to sleep, iPhone was on the home screen and then i locked him.It was recommended for older devices, it's not necessary any more.
Every time you force close an app, your iPhone has to load it completely when you open it again. If you don't force close it, it remains in a frozen state until you use it again, thus needing less power when you reopen it.
Force closing is necessary when an app misbehaves (crashing, ...).
In the morning when i woke up the battery was down by 20-30% so i went to check it in settings.
The app on first place was YouTube.
Apparantly the whole night my phone was attempting to keep loading a video.
